The honourable Prime Minister of India had desired to spread India’s traditional knowledge worldwide with credible systems with specific reference to Yoga which should provide India leadership in assuring quality of Yoga practices across the world. The Ministry of AYUSH in pursuance of the above and in the wake of declaration of International Day of Yoga in 2015 identified the Quality Council of India (QCI) to develop a Voluntary Scheme for Evaluation and Certification of Yoga Professionals.

QCI has designed the Yoga Professional Certification Scheme by adopting the principles and requirements laid down in the international standard, ISO 17024:2012 General Requirements for Bodies Operating Certification of Persons. The Scheme was presented to the Ministry of AYUSH and was launched on 22 June 2015 in the valedictory function of the International Day of Yoga celebration by the Hon’ble Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh.
Ministry of AYUSH vide Office Memorandum number L20025/21/2015-IC has decided to EXECUTE AND IMPLEMENT Yoga Scheme (The Yoga Scheme comprises of Yoga Professional Certification Scheme and Yoga School Certification Scheme) BY Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) w.e.f 1 March 2018. Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga has constituted Yoga Certification Board to manage this scheme.

The Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy, abbreviated as AYUSH, is a governmental body in India purposed with developing, education and research in ayurveda, yoga, naturopathy, unani, siddha, homoeopathy, Sowa Rigpa and other Indigenous medicine systems.
The Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga is an autonomous, non profit making institute, acting as the nodal agency for the development and promotion of yoga culture across the country. The Institute is established by the Department of AYUSH, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
The Yoga Certification Board is constituted to manage the Scheme of Voluntary Certification of Yoga Professionals.
Several bodies called Personal Certification Bodies (PrCBs) in India and abroad are appointed to conduct the Yoga Certification Exams. Candidates may approach any of these bodies to register and appear for the exams.
For your convenience we have the following 3 numbers for customer care:

All exam documents pertaining to the application are retained for a period of one year. Documents of the certified personnel are retained for a period of one certification cycle (3 years). All records are maintained in soft copy as per above duration, however all unused physical documents like question paper, OMR sheets will be destroyed in 30 days of the exam being conducted.
There is no restriction on age, qualification, training or experience.

Yes, for differently abled people, the requirement for certification would be limited to only theoretical knowledge and teaching practice. Such professionals will be certified that they have been evaluated only for Knowledge and teaching practice.

The nature of disability needs to be reported to MSPL for them giving approval on a case to case basis principle.

Currently there are 3 levels of certifications-

Level 1 Yoga Protocol Instructor
Level 2 Yoga Wellness Instructor
Level 3 Yoga Teacher & Evaluator

The Level 1, 2 & 3 examination are independent of each other.
You can take ONLY ONE exam in one day. All the exams cannot be taken together in one day. The candidate is allowed to take only either Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 exam.
For All Levels (L1, L2 and L3), the examination has two stages. There is no provision for negative marking.

• Written (theory) Examination – The questions are of multiple choice questions (MCQ) type for both offline and online exam. In offline exams, the answer sheet will be in form of the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) while in online the software will generate the result.
• Practical examination: The candidate will be assessed by a panel of 3 examiner.

Level 1:

a. The Scheme requires 70% weightage from written exam (knowledge) and 70% weightage from practical (skill) exam. The candidate needs to score 70% each from both.

Modalities:

i) The written exam shall comprise of 60 questions of 1 marks each totaling 60 marks.
ii) The practical shall comprise of 140 marks.
iii) The candidate must score a minimum of 70% marks in both theory and practical marks to be eligible for certification.
iv) We may conduct the practical exams the same date of theory exam or on a different day. The clauses of fee structure and reappearing shall be applicable for all L1, L2 and L3.

Level 2:

Modalities
i) The written exam shall comprise of 60 questions of 1 marks each totaling 60 marks.
ii) The practical shall comprise of 140 marks.
iii) The candidate must score a minimum of 70% marks in both theory and practical marks to be eligible for certification.
iv) We may conduct the practical exams the same date of theory exam or on a different day. The clauses of fee structure and reappearing shall be applicable for all L1, L2 and L3.

Level 3:

Modalities
i) The written exam shall comprise of 80 questions of 1 marks each totaling 80 marks.
ii) The practical shall comprise of 120 marks.
iii) The candidate must score a minimum of 70% marks in both theory and practical marks to be eligible for certification.
iv) We may conduct the practical exams the same date of theory exam or on a different day. The clauses of fee structure and reappearing shall be applicable for all L1, L2 and L3.

b) Ministry of External Affairs body, the Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR) has recognized the YP Level 2 certification and made it as a pre-requisite for foreign deputation for promotion of Yoga
c) State Governments are keenly interested to insert this as a requirement for their recruitment drive from time to time – e.g. Government of Haryana
d) Probability of higher employment opportunities in government schools, colleges, Yoga institutions.
e) List of successful candidates will be displayed on AYUSH website for providing any further opportunities arising
f) It will assist the learners in seeking qualified Yoga teachers.

Candidates need to apply for exam center change before last date for any particular location.
Candidate need to send email from there registered email id to info@qualityindia.in for any amendments but before last date of apply.

Please note that the fee is non-transferable. Candidate will have to take the exam with the PrCB with which it has registered. The transfer of candidate within PrCBs is not allowed. Exceptions, if any shall be handled by YCB.

The candidate has to secure qualifying marks both in theory and practical
independently.
a. If the candidates secures qualifying marks in practical but fails in theory, he/she
can reappear for theory exam only once within 3 month of declaration of result.
The candidate shall have to deposit the prescribed fee for appearing in the theory
exam.
b. If the candidate secures qualifying marks in theory but fails in practical, he/ she is
treated as fail and he/she shall have to appear for the exam as fresh candidate. In such condition, the full assessment fee shall have to be paid by the candidate.
His/her unique enrollment no. shall be valid.

Fees Once Paid is Non Refundable.

Candidates have to select their preferred language while applying. The languages
available are:-
• In India – Hindi and English. The PrCB may offer more languages.
• Rest of the countries- English and any other languages that can be decided by PrCB.

You will receive your admit card on your registered email id 4-5 days prior to exam date.
Admit card with Original Govt. approved photo id card.
Live Demo for filling OMR will be given by MSPL Coordinator before Exam at exam Center, Other instructions will be on your admit card.

If candidate after being allotted admit card for a particular exam does not appear for the exam, then the Fee paid for the exam will be forfeited . In cases she/he wished to appear again then the candidate will have to apply again.

If the candidate is not satisfied with his marks, they are permitted to apply for rechecking @ http://www.yasa.in/recheking/ with Stipulated fee.

Candidate can apply for re-checking within 15 days from the date of result declaration
The total time taken for re-checking process is 30 working days from date of payment being received.

Result will be declared with in 30 Days after Exam.
Result will be mailed to Candidates Registered E-Mail ID.
Result is prepared through Software which will obtained the Answers marked on OMR Sheet provided to Candidates during Examination.
All Candidates informed by SMS through SMS Gateway, Candidates are advised to put his/her Phone Number out of Do Not Disturb Directory.
Exam Fees once paid is Non-Refundable irrespective of Result Outcome.

Candidates can call dedicated Cell Number – 70095-19815 or 0161-466979 for getting Result again. Same is again mailed to Registered E-Mail ID.

Yes, Candidates Theory & Practical Marks Displayed in Result and Status of Result also mentioned (Fail/Pass).
In Theory Exam if a candidate is not satisfied with the declared result, he/she can fill Re-Checking by paying requistie fee within 15 days after declaration of result. Re-checking is limited to the calculation of marks. If the candidate is still not satisfied, he/she can request the concerned PrCB for re-checking of the answer sheet in his / her presence with in 15 days after declration of re-checking result. Prcb shall arrange the OMR sheet and question paper in the presence of examiner on receipt of the prescribed fee. In no case, the candidate is allowed to take the question papers / OMR sheet or its copy along with him/her. Time taken after receipt of request if 30 days from the date of application.
Candidate can fill Re-Checking with in 15 Working Days after declaration of Result.
Result of Re-Checking will be declared with in 5 Working Days after last date of apply.
Result of Re-Checking will be mailed to Candidates Registered E-Mail ID.

Certificate to Pass Candidates is delivered to their registered address with in approx 20 days after declaration of result.

Certificate is issued by Prcb and it has logo of Ministry of Ayush, Yoga Certification Board, Emblem of Indian Government.
Level 1 Certificate is valid for 5 Years, Level 2 & 3 for 3 Years.
When the Certificate is dispatched, Candidate will be intimated through E-Mail on registered E-Mail ID along with Tracking Number of Courier/Speed Post.
Generally it depends on the Location, In the City limits it is delivered with 3-4 days and in remote locations with 5-7 Working Days. Candidates are advised to track the packet.
Candidate can call our dedicated cell number 70095-19815 for any concerns regarding non delivery and will assist the candidates in all possible ways.

If a given address is wrong or Locked then Certificate will be received back in our office, Candidate will be informed about that same. Candidate need to send us request via e-mail for re-dispatch and have to deposit Rs. 150/- in advance as Courier charges if to be posted in India and 19 $ if to be posted outside India. After receipt of request & requisite fee it will be re-dispatched.

If the Certificate is Lost, Candidate need to report the same via e-mail to care@qualityindia.in and submit the requisite fee of Rs. 354/- in bank account.
When the Fee is received from Candidate, It is issued with in 20-25 working days.
As such there is no limit, When the Certificate is lost, Candidate need to report the same via e-mail to care@qualityindia.in and submit the requistie fee of Rs. 354/- in bank account.
After Declaration of Result, There is No Fee to be charged from candidates for issuing Certificate.
